The Pen Name Dies...TFF being overhauled.

Journal Entry: Mon Jul 14, 2008, 7:21 PM
I'm releasing all new material for the Legacy of Tirlannon and other writing projects under my real name. Sorry for any confusion this may create, but eh... I don't need the mask. This is me. This is what I write. I hope more will read and enjoy the worlds of Tirlannon & the Crystal Continuum...

I'm currently working on the Fourth Revision of The Freedom Fighter. Going through the book and hearing a lot of input on the matter, I've decided the whole thing needs a rewrite/overhaul. Nothing of the plot will change. None of the events will change. All the characters will remain the same, but hopefully this version will be far better written...and more chapters are in the works too.

Origin of My Screen Name

Journal Entry: Mon Feb 20, 2006, 12:51 PM
An excerpt from my notes on The Legacy of Tirlannon, Part VII: A Legacy Passed (Title Tentative)

"Merlin re-forged Oro'quiel into a new sword, built from the remaining Kri'isen jewel and its housing, and the old handle. He gifted the sword to a Roman governor who was native to the region, Aurelianus Ambrosius. His men sensed the power of destiny housed within the sword, and named it Deus Ex Caliburn, or God Within Sword, likening the blade to the very hand of God Himself. The legend of Excalibur was born."

Been A While...

Well hmm, where do I start?

I'm well into writing the sequel to The Freedom Fighter, the second novel of the Legacy of Tirlannon series, tentatively called "Shadow of the Chimaera". The Freedom Fighter is up on Amazon.com, and has moved publishers to LuluPress. Why? Simple. Better deal. The book is built with better quality materials. The base cost is cheaper. I make more royalties. The final cost is cheaper, even with me making more royalties. They have industry level distribution channels. They got me on Amazon, and when I'm ready, they'll put me in Barnes and Noble as well as the standard wholesale lists to get me into any book store, chain or no.

Phatooine.

Its getting big. Larger than I'm used to. Its been an interesting adventure the past few months as an influx of new users has made the site grow by leaps and bounds. As many of the other Star Wars sites slow down and dwindle, Phatooine grows and flourishes. There are growing pains, and there is the message board drama that is par for the course, I suppose.

Art Projects.

I have some new stuff to show off here. Stay tuned. If you've watched my at thread over on Phatooine, you've probably seen it all, but I've been doing alot of stuff I haven't posted anywhere yet.

Second Edition of The Freedom Fighter

Journal Entry: Mon Aug 22, 2005, 12:12 AM
A labour of love, twelve years in the making (okay two serious ones, and ten of mulling it over), The Freedom Fighter is now complete, revised and expanded to... well I won't say perfection as that would be slightly egotistical perhaps (no matter how true it may very well be)... revised and expanded to my complete satisfaction (for now)...

I'm quite pleased with the outcome. The first edition was sort of like a damned good beta, but the second is ready for a wider-scale publication.

I intend to stay independent as an author for the foreseeable future, as I don't want to be bullied by prospective publishers into doing stupid things with my rights, and compromising the integrity of the greater epic to come by editing stuff out that applies to that... I've heard horror stories from other writers who did the traditional route.

For now, you can buy my book at the Legacy of Tirlannon store:

The Freedom Fighter - First CafePress Edition

Journal Entry: Tue Jul 12, 2005, 7:42 PM
It won't last long...

I'm planning on pulling the first edition of The Freedom Fighter from the tirlannon.net CafePress store soon. If you want the original version with all the errors and the *cough* rarity/collectibility of it... get it soon. The perfected/completed revised edition will be up in a week, maybe sooner...
